Q: Why are you called "Weevil"?
A: It's catchy, it's cute and more importantly it's a symbol of scientific progress and creativity. You can read more about the history behind the weevil in the "Why Weevil?" feature of our first issue.
Q: So what do you guys do?
A: We produce a humorous scientific magazine. We also geek, debate and generally have fun.
Q: Where can I get "Weevil"?
A: Paper copies are available at some science departments. You can also read "Weevil" on our website; that is also the place where you can download the pdf of the magazine.
Q: I can't find a paper copy of "Weevil" anywhere - what do I do?
A: We try to make paper copies available in science departments, but they do run out. You can read "Weevil" online or download it from our website. You can also order a paper copy from us during term time for a small handling fee of 80p (just enough to give it energy to get to you. 80p? Get it? Oh never mind).
Q: I'd like to get involved - what can I do?
A: The Weevil Team is always looking for enthusiastic new members. Whether you are interested in writing, editing or illustrating, there is a place for you on the team. Just contact us: weevilmagazine at gmail.com
Q: I'd like to offer "Weevil" financial support - what should I do?
A: We are always grateful for sponsorship. If you'd like to support "Weevil" financially, get in touch with us: weevilmagazine at gmail.com
Q: What do you get if you cross a dragon with a weevil?
A: Research on this controversial topic is underway, so keep an eye out for our next issue!
